New Sands End community kitchen is the latest H&F Hive success

A new community kitchen, a family play project and planting sessions in a local park. These are three of the great community projects which have recently raised vital funds on the H&F Hive.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council set up the H&F Hive to enable local organisations and residents to raise money for great community projects.

All three of these projects are the result of successful crowdfunding campaigns run by local groups on the H&F Hive. And it follows the eight other exciting projects which have already raised funds on the H&F Hive with help from the council.

All the organisations running projects on the H&F Hive were invited to the Lyric theatre in Hammersmith recently to celebrate – and to spread the word about the money available for local groups.

“It was great to hear what’s been achieved so far on the H&F Hive,” said Cllr Sue Fennimore, Deputy Leader of H&F Council.

“The passion and commitment shown by the organisations and volunteers that have brought the community together to support their ideas is truly inspiring.”
